During the month of October, visit Cannonsburgh Village to complete our Fall Bucket List Challenge. Fulfill the thirty-one tasks throughout the month or all in one visit. Experience fall in the village while checking off each task. The list will be available in print in the Visitors Center, as well as on the the Cannonsburgh Facebook page and event calendar listing on murfreesborotn.gov. The village is open Tuesday-Friday from 9:00am-6:00pm, Saturday from 9:00am-4:00pm, and Sundays 1:00pm-4pm. The village may close for special events, so you may want to call before you visit. Whether you use your phone or a camera, have fun looking for each of the photo clues in and around the buildings in the village. The Fall Photo Challenge is open to all, including professional and amateur photographers, students and those who like a good event challenge. Exercise Studio
Tai Chi is an ancient Chinese discipline consisting of slow movements and postures done in a fluid and relaxed manner. It is used to reduce stress, increase flexibility, improve muscle strength, increase stamina and agility and increase the feeling of well-being. For ages 15+. Wilderness Station at Barfield Crescent Park
This workshop will introduce you to a variety of outdoor cooking methods including campfire cooking. Dutch ovens, camp stoves, foil cooking, and pie irons. Learn how to create delicious meals and snacks for camping or your own backyard. Takes place at the campground, which requires a 1-mile walk on the paved trail. For ages 16+, but geared for adults. What is that crawling, slithering, sliding, flying, and hopping across the trail or even in your backyard? Each week we will look at one of our resident education animals for a mini lesson of animals that call Tennessee home. Come out and meet the best teachers we have – the animals! Free for all ages.

This class focuses on strength, balance, cardio, core, and range of motion. Saturday class added! You must sign up for all classes due to the limited number of spaces available. No class September 6 or October 7. Limit 35. Meets in Room 105.

Historic East Nashville tour includes Five Points, Richland off West End, Belle Meade, Germantown, and Downtown Nashville between 8th Avenue, the Cumberland River, and Music Row. Fee includes transportation and riding guided tour. Bring money for lunch.
Room 204
In this class we will focus on core, balance and range of motion. Some resistance techniques may be used in the form of elastic bands or free weights. You must be able to transfer to and from a mat. You must sign up for all classes due to the limited number of spaces available. For ages 60+. Limit 10. Meets in Room 206.
Open Tai Chi class is open to all levels: beginners, intermediate and advanced and is taught by Eli Smith. The cost is $10 per month. Limit 20. Meets in Room 204.
