The Bradley Academy Museum and Cultural Center, in support of promoting MLK Day in January, has created a way to produce a student art show exhibited at Bradley Museum that showcases art inspired by the teachings of Martin Luther King, Jr. Martin Luther King, Jr.’s messaging was crucial to empowering individuals, as well as strengthening communities, bridging barriers, and creating solutions to the social problems around homelessness, unemployment, “under” employment, food insecurities, violence, child abuse, prejudice and stereotypes. We have worked with all ages of students to create a timeline and artwork throughout the showcase while showing off the creativeness and talents of our community’s artists. This class concentrates on muscle-building techniques and activities for intermediate to advanced exercisers. It includes standing and floor work and may use body weight, hand weights, weighted bars, bands and balls. Light cardio bursts may also be included.

Bump, set, and spike it at Sports*Com as qualified coaches give instructions on every aspect of the game. From beginners to advanced, youth volleyball players will get the opportunity to develop and refine their skills in both practice and game situations. Stay Active and Independent for Life (SAIL) is a strength, balance and fitness program. These exercises improve strength, balance and fitness and can help you stay active and reduce your chance of falling. You must have an assessment done by Laura Grissom before starting the class.
