    Let’s explore Tennessee’s amazing state park system! The Long Hunter loop paved trail meanders along Couchville lake with the cross-country hike to the Bryant’s Grove area and back. The hike is rated easy to moderate. Sinkholes and cedar glades are just a few cool features we will explore on this interpretive hike! For ages 12+. Under 18 must be accompanied by adult.

  2. Back to Our Roots Fish Fry & Bake Sale

    Bradley Academy Museum & Cultural Center is honoring our past by hosting a drive-up fish fry and bake sale. Years ago before the City of Murfreesboro acquired the museum, a fish fry was often used as a form of fundraising. Bring your appetite when you stop by the museum for a delicious fried fish sandwich and a sweet treat! Prices will vary by item. For all ages.

  1. Imagine A Day Without Water High School Video Contest

    September 8, 2020 - October 16, 2020 @ Online/Virtual- If you are a high school student or if you know of a high school student who would be interested in, have them head over to www.murfreesborotn.gov/IADWW, read our contest guidelines, and complete the entry form for participation!

    The Murfreesboro Water Community Affairs Division is asking all high school students to help bring awareness to the value of water with our Imagine A Day Without Water Video Contest! Students will produce, film, and edit a 30-60 second video that represents the importance of water and the value it has in our everyday lives, including at least 1 of 3 themes: The Value of Water, Water/Wastewater Infrastructure, and/or Imagine A Day Without Water. At the end of the campaign, the best video for each grade level (Grades 9-12) will be chosen by a Selection Committee and rewarded a $100 Visa Gift Card. In addition one teacher whose class submits one collaborative video entry will also be selected by our Selection Committee and compete to win a $100 Visa Gift Card, to be used for their classroom. A total of $500 in prizes will rewarded!
