    It's hot out, but that shouldn't keep you from challenging yourself. Why not complete a triathlon this summer - the slow and steady way? Swim 2.4 miles, bike 112 miles and run 26.2 miles over the course of the summer. Track your progress on provided logs, then turn in by the end of the summer (July 31) for a t-shirt. Register at Sports*Com from May 1-May 31. For all ages.

  3. Tennessee College of Applies Technology (TCAT) Trip

    Go to TCAT for non-medical foot care, manicures, hair wash and style or haircuts. Each service is $5, and there is an annual fee of $5.     This class is for people with Type 2 diabetes (T2) or those who are at risk for T2. It is a prevention class/support group, teaching how to prevent T2 diabetes and/or how to prevent the complications of T2 diabetes. Please sign up only if you are committed to coming regularly. Discussions include nutrition, mental and physical health and healthy cooking demos. Class runs from March 6-June 26. Meets in Room E303.
