For ages 1-4 with adult. Welcome to the Wilderness! Introduce your child to the wonders of nature in this fun-filled class designed just for them. Each week the adventure starts with unique songs and a discussion about the animal of the week. We reinforce each topic with a simple craft and a nature hike or fun activity. learn about the wonderful, wacky wildlife that lives in Tennessee. Registration is required. We will be taking a trip to the Murfreesboro Police station to see how your local crime lab works. Get first-hand experience on forensic science for solving crimes. The bus will leave the center at 8:45 am for the station. Space is limited to 23 .

This class is for people with Type 2 diabetes (T2) or those who are at risk for T2. It is a prevention class/support group, teaching how to prevent T2 diabetes and/or how to prevent the complications of T2 diabetes. Please sign up only if you are committed to coming regularly. Discussions include nutrition, mental and physical health and healthy cooking demos. Class runs from March 6-June 26. Meets in Room E303.

A peer support group can help you improve your overall diabetes self-management. The goal of this group is to help you learn new coping skills, tips and tricks that may help you manage your diabetes.
