    This class will focus on breathing, strength, and alignment techniques to help get your pelvic floor working correctly for optimal support and function. Class will consist mostly of lying down and seated floor work with some possible standing movements. Ages: Adults

    Your upper body takes a beating all day. Problems at the top can work their way down through the rest of the body, causing tightness, misalignment and pain. This class will work on strengthening, stretching and aligning your mid and upper back, shoulders, chest and arms to get you upright and moving right. All classes may include standing, sitting and mat/floor work, stretching, body weight exercises, light weights, bands, foam rollers and massage balls. This class runs from September to December. Come to one, or come to all. Each class stands alone. Ages: Adults

    For many of us, this is the time of year for cozy nights around the fire and homemade cookies. Let’s balance our indulgences with some Greenway walkin’! The Greenway is a jewel of our city and beautiful in every season. Each Tuesday in November and December we will meet at a different trailhead and walk. By the end of the two months, we will have walked the entirety of the Murfreesboro Greenway! For all ages.

    Welcome to the Wilderness! Introduce your child to the wonders of nature in this fun-filled class designed just for them. Each week the adventure starts with unique songs and a discussion about the animal of the week. We reinforce each topic with a simple craft and a nature hike or fun activity. Join us each Wednesday, and learn about the wonderful, wacky wildlife that lives in Tennessee. Registration is required. Please call the Tuesday before class to register.     For some people, the floor is their greatest nemesis--once they are down on it, they can’t get back up. This is an important functional and life skill many people lose as they get older. This class will focus on strengthening and stretching the muscles and joints needed to make getting down and up easier.   18. Snakes: Mysteries in Nature

    Introduce yourself to the world of snakes. This program will cover the natural history of snakes as they entered the new world and populated the southeast including the Volunteer state. We will discuss behavioral and community ecology, biodiversity and conservation of snakes in Tennessee. This program would be great for college students concentrating on life sciences, young adults or people just interested in the snakes that call Middle Tennessee home. Come enjoy a colorful presentation, and get a chance to see a live snake up close. For ages 12+.
