1. When are property taxes due and what is the penalty for being late?

Property taxes are due December 31 each year. If this falls on a weekend you have until the next work day the city is open to pay without penalty and interest being added. We take post office postmark as proof of the payment being sent on or before December 31. The penalty and interest is 1.5% per month the payment is late. 2. Do you take partial payments for property taxes?

Yes we take partial payments. We have guidelines that would need to be followed and any amounts unpaid will be turned over to Chancery Court at the proper deadline. Please call 615-893-5210, and let us discuss this with you if you are interested.
