Suspect Justin Tyler Romohr, 22, of 1810 Jordan Avenue, was arrested and charged with one count of arson following a house fire incident November 30 at 225 Wilson Ave.
“Romohr was initially arrested Thursday afternoon and charged with violation of probation for an unrelated incident,” said Assistant Fire Marshal Tracy Summar. “He was booked into the Wilson County Jail and his bond was set at $25,000,” Summar continued.
Friday morning, Murfreesboro Fire & Rescue Department’s Fire Marshal’s Office served Romohr the arson warrant.
Romohr will eventually be transferred to Rutherford County Jail on the arson charge and a new bond will be set.
Fire at 225 Wilson Avenue
Murfreesboro Fire & Rescue Department’s Districts 1 and 3 and Rescues 2 and 8 responded to a house fire at 225 Wilson Avenue around 2:00 am on Sunday, November 30.
When crews arrived on scene, heavy flames were showing and according to Shift Commander Tim Swann, approximately 75 percent of the house was involved.
Fortunately, no one was injured during the incident. The home was a total loss.
