MURFREESBORO, Tenn. – Murfreesboro Police Department Special Investigations Unit detectives are offering human and sex trafficking training for barbers, hair stylists and nail salon workers.  The latest episode of ‘Behind The Badge’ with Public Information Officer Larry Flowers also features a law enforcement group biking 280 miles across the state honoring officers who lost their lives in the line of duty.

‘Behind the Badge’ is airing on Murfreesboro CityTV throughout the upcoming months and features:

Human and Sex Trafficking training for nail salon workers, barbers, and hair stylists.

  • Law Enforcement United riding bicycles across Tennessee honoring officers who died in the line of duty and raising money to send children of the officers to a kid’s camp.
  • The Murfreesboro Police Department is always looking for dedicated people to ‘Grow With MPD,’ but the COVID-19 pandemic put a pause on in-person career fairs, until now.
  • MPD K9 G-Man has officially retired; he has a replacement which will have some big paws to fill.
