Murfreesboro Fire & Rescue Department’s busy Friday morning continues, as crews responded around 11:00 to a Murfreesboro Electric Department vehicle on fire in a parking lot near the Gold’s Gym on Memorial Boulevard.
The vehicle, which was not endangering any structures, was extinguished by Engine 4 crews. No other vehicles received damage.
Crews stayed on scene to check for hotspots. According to Acting Shift Commander Thomas McAdoo, the cause of the fire is unknown at this time.
No one was injured during the incident.
