[ARCHIVED] MFRD Responds to Vehicle vs. Tree MVA

Murfreesboro Fire & Rescue Department’s Engine 1 and District 8 responded to a one car motor vehicle accident at 911 East Clark Boulevard just after 7:00 Friday morning.

The vehicle crashed into a tree and crews were initially dispatched to provide extrication services. However, upon arrival is was determined that extrication was not needed.

The victim was removed from the vehicle and crews immediately began CPR until Rutherford County EMS arrived on scene.

The victim was transported to a local hospital. MFRD crews cleaned up the scene and Murfreesboro Police Department will be investigating the incident.

It is unclear if a medical condition lead to the accident. No further details will be released at this time.
