The Murfreesboro Parks & Recreation Department (MPRD) will host an open house Monday, May 6, 2019, from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. at Patterson Park Community Center, Meeting Rooms A and B, to present final recommendations of the MPRD Master Plan.

On November 19, 2018, Murfreesboro Parks & Recreation Department held an open house for all citizens regarding existing and future facilities and programs of the Parks and Recreation Department. Consulting firm Ragan-Smith Associates led the public input meeting for development of a Comprehensive Plan. On March 4, 2019, the Murfreesboro Parks & Recreation Commission met to review and discuss the draft Master Plan submitted by Ragan-Smith Associates.
