MWRD is excited to publish our Water Resource Integration Plan (WRIP). This document was prepared as a companion document to the City’s Murfreesboro 2035 comprehensive plan. With the anticipated growth of this community, MWRD believed it valuable to prepare a document that would strategically plan on how water resources would be made available and utilized most efficiently in the next twenty (20) years.
A joint meeting was conducted between the Water Resources Board and Consolidated Utility District of Rutherford County’s Board on December 4, 2018 in an effort to collaborate and optimize future delivery of services between the two water providers inside the City Limits of Murfreesboro. Both water systems places customer satisfaction as one of their highest priorities and looks forward to a bright future in our community.
