The division executive director is Angela Jackson, who had previously served as director of Parks & Recreation.

The Senior Center celebrated its grand reopening in July 2017, following an eight-month renovation. The remodeled Senior Center received a $2.3 million facelift, including interior lighting, new furniture, exercise center and networking lounge.

In 2017, The St. Clair Street Senior Center received the Tennessee Federation for Aging “Innovation Award” for improving the lives of older adults with new programming and renovation to the Center.

St. Clair Street Senior Center is creating a better quality of life for residents of Murfreesboro and Rutherford County who are sixty years of age or older, through lifelong learning, promotion of health and well-being, socialization, and volunteer opportunities.
