The December episode of Murfreesboro’s ‘In the City’ television magazine show is available for watching on Facebook and YouTube and daily and nightly on CityTV.

Join host Michael Linn White as she takes us to Winterfest at the Fountains at Gateway, on stage for Miracle on 34th Street at Center for the Arts, and to the 11th Annual Celebrity Spelling Bee at The Grove at Williamson Place. The December 2018 episode is airing on CityTV throughout the month or anytime on YouTube at https://youtu.be/LnvSc-F5Aaw. The monthly magazine show airs every day at 8:30 a.m. and 6:30 p.m. on Channel 3 and 1094 on Comcast Xfinity Channels 3 and 1094, Channel 99 on AT&T Uverse, Roku, Apple TV via Cablecast Screenweave app, and YouTube.

  • Watch as community leaders break ground for a new Monroe Carell Jr. Children’s Hospital at Vanderbilt clinic in Murfreesboro to meet the pediatric health needs of a growing community.   • Firefighting is not only about fighting fires. Eighty percent of 9-1-1 calls are medical or rescue in nature. Murfreesboro Fire Rescue personnel undergo exams and EMT training through a partnership with Motlow State Community College. The 8-week course teaches 37 basic skills prior to application for a state EMT license. Assistant Fire Chief Kim Lawson and Drew Hooker, director of MSCC EMS Education, say the goal is to deliver the highest level of advanced training possible. https://youtu.be/6pc8_UI4nc .
  • The Murfreesboro Parks & Recreation Department wants feedback on the future direction toward developing a 20-year Master Plan.
