The December episode of Murfreesboro’s ‘In the City’ television magazine show is available for watching on Facebook and YouTube and daily and nightly on CityTV.
Join host Michael Linn White as she takes us to Winterfest at the Fountains at Gateway, on stage for Miracle on 34th Street at Center for the Arts, and to the 11th Annual Celebrity Spelling Bee at The Grove at Williamson Place. - Firefighting is not only about fighting fires. Eighty percent of 9-1-1 calls are medical or rescue in nature. Murfreesboro Fire Rescue personnel undergo exams and EMT training through a partnership with Motlow State Community College. The 8-week course teaches 37 basic skills prior to application for a state EMT license.
