[ARCHIVED] MFRD Crews Extricate One Victim at MVA Near McDonald’s on Memorial Boulevard

Murfreesboro Fire & Rescue Department’s Ladder 6 and Rescue 8 responded to a motor vehicle accident involving a tractor trailer and a Honda Ridgeline truck at 3371 Memorial Boulevard (near McDonald’s restaurant) around 10:30 Friday night.

Crews had to extricate one victim, who was transported to a local hospital with non-life threatening injuries according to Acting Shift Commander Jeff Day.

Day also reported that Harpeth Towing and Recovery’s Hazardous Materials Cleanup Crew was called to the scene due to antifreeze and oil leaking from the tractor trailer. MFRD crews remain on scene at this time, standing by during the cleanup process.
