[ARCHIVED] September episode of ‘In the City’ airing on CityTV and YouTube

On “In the City” this month, Michael Linn White takes you behind-the-scenes of Murfreesboro’s popular Lip Sync Challenge video, demonstrating how our police officers and firefighters know how to rap. With over a million views on YouTube, the video featuring music artist Big Smo and his song “Workin” has gone viral.

The September 2018 episode is airing on CityTV throughout the month or anytime on YouTube at https://youtu.be/zx877nJllJQ.

Also “In the City,” learn more about the Parks and Rec online registration system, get an inside look at renovations to Linebaugh Library, and learn why water sheds are vital to our local environment in a new series “What Water Shed Do You Live In?”

The monthly magazine show airs every day at 8:30 a.m. and 6:30 p.m. on Channel 3 and 1094 on Comcast Xfinity, Channel 99 on AT&T Uverse, Roku, and YouTube.

The September edition of “In the City” also features:

  • Meet the City’s new Parks & Recreation director. Nate Williams started working for Parks & Rec as a lifeguard at the age of 16.
