The Murfreesboro City Council will meet in a regular workshop meeting at 11:30 a.m., Wed., Aug. 8, 2018, in the Council Chambers at City Hall, 111 West Vine Street, to discuss several issues with staff.

On July 26, 2018, City Council adopted Resolution 18-R-23 establishing regular Council Meeting dates as Thursday at 7:00 p.m. and adding the second Wednesday of each month at 11:30 a.m. for holding regular special Workshop Sessions. Regular meetings in a workshop format allow staff and Council to discuss City issues, facilitate discussions, provide information, and receive Council direction.
Additionally, the regular workshop meetings allow staff to discuss City matters with Council in a public meeting that citizens can attend and observe, in keeping with Council priority for community engagement.
