Hundreds of pieces of student artwork will be exhibited at the 5th Annual Winner's Circle--a Fine Art Exhibition of Rutherford County and Murfreesboro City Schools' students along with private schools and homeschoolers, May 9-19.
The county-wide competition Art Show and Awards reception for the Kindergarten-12th Grade Art Exhibition will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, May 19, 2018, at Todd Art Gallery, Room 224A, Todd Hall, on the MTSU campus.
The creative work will be on display May 9-19 and culminate with a Winner's Circle Awards Reception ceremony May 19. Demonstrations and workshops will be held from 2:00 -3:30 p.m., including hands-on wheel throwing demonstrations with audience participation.
The demonstrations will be facilitated by MTSU Art and Design Alum Jonathan Griffith and Kay Currie. Raku Firing demonstrations will be conducted by Lewis Snyder and Jim Carson in the courtyard between Todd Hall and Keathly University Center (KUC). All gallery events are free and open to the public.
