RESOLUTION 17-R-01 honoring Vice Mayor Douglas Brock Young for his dedicated service to the City of Murfreesboro.

RESOLUTION 17-R-02 regarding  a temporary credit to extend the period designated in Murfreesboro City  Code Section 33-51(B)(1)(c), Reduction in charges for water excluded  from sewerage system.

RESOLUTION 17-R-03 expressing  official intent that certain expenditures to be incurred in connection  with certain public works projects, and related expenditures for  purchase of 700 MHz tower site infrastructure, dispatch consoles and  two-way radios and accessories and tower and tower site equipment,  UHF/VHF 700 MHz tower site infrastructure, and microwave equipment, be  reimbursed from proceeds of notes, bonds, or other indebtedness to be  issued or incurred by the City of Murfreesboro, Tennessee.

RESOLUTION 17-R-04 requesting  the Tennessee General Assembly to pass a Private Act amending the  Murfreesboro City Charter to address the filling of vacancies on City  Council and Election dates.

RESOLUTION 17-R-05 authorizing the adjustment of employee payroll from a current payroll cycle to a two-week arrears payroll cycle.

RESOLUTION 17-R-06 expressing official intent that certain expenditures to be incurred in  connection with certain public works projects, and related expenditures  to continue renovations and improvements for the energy conservation  program, be reimbursed from proceeds of notes, bonds, or other  indebtedness to be issued or incurred by the City of Murfreesboro,  Tennessee.

RESOLUTION 17-R-07 in acknowledgment and support of the City of Murfreesboro Historic Bottoms Planning Study.

RESOLUTION 17-R-08 in acknowledgment and support of the City of Murfreesboro North Highland Avenue Planning Study.

RESOLUTION 17-R-09 urging the Tennessee General Assembly to restore local control to enforce smoke-free air and other tobacco-related laws.

RESOLUTION 17-R-10 amending 2016-2017 budgets for the Murfreesboro City Schools (1st amendment).

RESOLUTION 17-R-11 approving Chapter 1 of the Private Acts of 2017.

RESOLUTION 17-R-12 expressing official intent that certain expenditures to be incurred in  connection with certain public works projects, and related expenditures  for the Jordan Farm Soccer Practice Facility, be reimbursed from  proceeds of notes, bonds, or other indebtedness to be issued or incurred  by the City of Murfreesboro, Tennessee.

RESOLUTION 17-R-13 approving the budget of the Murfreesboro Water and Sewer Department for the Fiscal Year 2017-2018.

RESOLUTION 17-R-14 approving the budget of the Stormwater Utility Management Fund for the Fiscal Year 2017-2018.

RESOLUTION 17-R-15 approving the budget of the Murfreesboro City Schools for the Fiscal  Year 2017-2018, which budget includes the general purpose fund, the  extended school program fund, the federal and state program funds, the  cafeteria fund, and the debt service fund.

RESOLUTION 17-R-16 approving the budget of the Evergreen Cemetery for the Fiscal Year 2017-2018.

RESOLUTION 17-R-17 to provide other post-employment benefits for retirees for FY 2017-2018.

RESOLUTION 17-R-18 adopting a Public Records Policy for the City of Murfreesboro.

RESOLUTION 17-R-19approving the budget of the Murfreesboro Electric Department for the Fiscal Year 2017-2018.

RESOLUTION  17-R-20 adopting and incorporating a restated synopsis of Murfreesboro  City Schools budget for the Fiscal Year 2017-2018, which budget includes  a summary of the general purpose fund, the extended school program  fund, the federal and state program funds, the cafeteria fund, and the  debt service fund.

RESOLUTION 17-R-21 expressing official intent  that certain expenditures to be incurred in connection with certain  public works projects, and related expenditures to assist the Tennessee  Department of Transportation (TDOT) with the widening of Thompson Lane  for the Right of Way Phase, be reimbursed from proceeds of notes, bonds,  or other indebtedness to be issued or incurred by the City of  Murfreesboro, Tennessee.

RESOLUTION 17-R-22 in acknowledgment and support of the City of Murfreesboro 2035 Comprehensive Plan.

RESOLUTION  17-R-23 authorizing application for the FY 2017 Edward Byrne Memorial  Justice Assistance Grant (JAG) Program Award for 2016-2020, designating a  representative for such grant and approving entry into an Interlocal  Agreement between Rutherford County and the City of Murfreesboro,  Tennessee for the FY 2017 Edward Byrne Memorial Justice Assistance Grant  (JAG) Program Award in the amount of $59,821.00.

RESOLUTION  17-R-24 expressing official intent that certain expenditures to be  incurred in connection with certain public works projects, and related  expenditures for professional services for concept development, design  development, final design, permitting, construction drawings, bid  documentation and construction phases services for West Park, located at  Burnt Knob Road and Veterans Parkway, be reimbursed from proceeds of  notes, bonds, or other indebtedness to be issued or incurred by the City  of Murfreesboro, Tennessee.

RESOLUTION 17-R-25 requesting unclaimed balance of accounts remitted to State Treasurer under Unclaimed Property Act.

RESOLUTION 17-R-26 expressing official intent that certain expenditures to be incurred in connection with certain public works projects, and related expenditures to acquire approximately 11.7 acres of property along East Clark Boulevard, be reimbursed from proceeds of notes, bonds, or other indebtedness to be issued or incurred by the City of Murfreesboro, Tennessee.

RESOLUTION 17-R-27 to approve Kentucky Educational Development Corporation as a purchasing cooperative under the City’s Procurement Code.

RESOLUTION 17-R-28 in acknowledgment and support of the City of Murfreesboro 2040 Major Transportation Plan.

RESOLUTION 17-R-29 re-designating representatives for the Edward Byrne Memorial Justice Assistance Grant (JAG) Program.   

RESOLUTION 17-R-30 in support of the I-24 Smart Corridor Project Concept and Funding Plan.

RESOLUTION 17-R-31 in acknowledgment and support of the City of Murfreesboro Design Guidelines.

RESOLUTION 17-R-32 approving and authorizing transmittal of a letter to the Tennessee Department of Transportation describing the City’s efforts toward the development of an ADA Transition Plan for City rights-of-way and other transportation facilities.

RESOLUTION 17-R-33 designating certain officials to execute the necessary agreements to enter into a commercial credit card account with SunTrust Bank.
