The Murfreesboro Planning Commission will conduct a public hearing at 6:00 PM on November 6, 2019 in the Council Chambers in City Hall, 111 W. Vine Street, Murfreesboro, Tennessee to consider a petition for annexation [2019-508] and the adoption of a Plan of Services for approximately 65 acres located along Northwest Broad Street.  The petition is being made by Springboard Landing, Inc. and Mary Hord Haymore Children, LP, whose representative, Mr. Rob Molchan of SEC, Inc., may be contacted at (615)-890-7901 for additional information.  A copy of the Plan of Services is available for review in the office of the Planning Director in City Hall, and it is anticipated that a copy will be posted on the City’s web page at www.murfreesborotn.gov the week of the public hearing.  Interested parties may also obtain additional information by calling the Murfreesboro Planning Staff at (615)-893-6441.  All interested parties are invited to attend.

The Murfreesboro Planning Commission will conduct a public hearing at 6:00 PM on November 6, 2019 in the Council Chambers in City Hall, 111 W. Vine Street, Murfreesboro, Tennessee to consider an application [2019-424] to zone approximately 65 acres located along Northwest Broad Street to PUD (Planned Unit District) simultaneous with annexation and to rezone approximately 13 acres from RS-15 (Single-Family Residential District 15) and L-I (Light Industrial District) to PUD.  The purpose of the proposed PUD (River Landing PUD) is to allow a development consisting of 112 single-family residential detached dwellings, 282 single-family residential attached dwellings, and approximately 6.5 acres of commercial development.  The application is being made by D.R. The Murfreesboro Planning Commission will conduct a public hearing at 6:00 PM on November 6, 2019 in the Council Chambers in City Hall, 111 W. Vine Street, Murfreesboro, Tennessee to consider a request [2019-438] to zone approximately 2,348 parcels (approximately 920 acres) to CCO (City Core Overlay District) in Downtown Murfreesboro and surrounding areas.  The CCO is an overlay district, which would regulate land use, site design, and building design.  The underlying zoning district for each of the affected parcels is not proposed to be changed with this request.  The request is being made by the City of Murfreesboro Planning Department.  Interested parties may obtain additional information by calling the Murfreesboro Planning Staff at (615)-893-6441 or by visiting the City’s website at www.murfreesborotn.gov.    All interested parties are invited to attend.

Vine Street, Murfreesboro, Tennessee to consider an amendment [2019-807] to the Zoning Ordinance regarding Section 24, Article VI: City Core Overlay District (CCO).  The purpose of this amendment is to modify the zoning standards for the City Core Overlay District (CCO).  The request is being made by the City of Murfreesboro Planning Department.  A copy of the proposed amendment is available for review in the office of the Planning Director in City Hall and it is also posted on the City’s web page at www.murfreesborotn.gov.  Interested parties may also obtain additional information by calling the Murfreesboro Planning Staff at (615)-893-6441.  All interested parties are invited to attend.

The Murfreesboro Planning Commission will conduct a public hearing at 6:00 PM on November 6, 2019 in the Council Chambers in City Hall, 111 W. Vine Street, Murfreesboro, Tennessee to consider an application [2019-433] to rezone approximately 23 acres located along the north side of Veterans Parkway from RS-10 (Single-Family Residential District 10) to PRD (Planned Residential District) simultaneous with annexation.  The purpose of the proposed PRD (Veterans Cove PRD) is to allow a residential development consisting of 95 single-family residential attached dwellings.  The application is being made by Alcorn Properties, LLC, whose representative, Mr. Nathan Melson of Civil Infrastructure Associates, may be contacted at (615)-663-7678 for additional information.  Copies of the application and the PRD pattern book are available for review in the office of the Planning Director in City Hall and it is anticipated that they will be posted on the City’s web page at www.murfreesborotn.gov the week of the public hearing.  Interested parties may also obtain additional information by calling the Murfreesboro Planning Staff at (615)-893-6441.  All interested parties are invited to attend.
