Application S-18-031 by Bill Rush representing Lamar RN, LLC, requesting an 8-foot height Variance from the City of Murfreesboro Sign Ordinance, Section 25.2-27(A)(2), requiring maximum height of 50 feet for an off-site permanent sign to allow 58 feet height.  Property is zoned Heavy Industrial (H-I), located at 535 NW Broad Street.

Application Z-18-032 by Steve Dawson, requesting a 25-foot setback Variance from the City of Murfreesboro Zoning Ordinance, Chart 2, requiring 35-feet front setback to allow carport 10 feet from the front property line.  Property is zoned Single Family Residential (RS-10), located at 1603 Lakeshore Drive.

Application Z-18-033 by Bill Jakes, requesting a 5-foot landscape Variance from the City of Murfreesboro Zoning Ordinance, requiring a minimum Type-A landscape buffer (10-ft width) along the west property line to allow 5-ft width.  Property is zoned General Office Residential (OG-R), located at 305 North Highland Avenue. 

Application Z-18-034 by Jonathan Redman, requesting a Special Use Permit in accordance with the City of Murfreesboro Zoning Ordinance, Section 9.D(2)(rr) to allow a home based business for barber. Property is zoned Single Family Residential (RS-10), located at 2638 Isaiah Drive.  

Application Z-18-035 by Jeff Daniels, requesting a Special Use Permit in accordance with the City of Murfreesboro Zoning Ordinance, 9D(2)(a) to construct a 700 square foot accessory apartment.  Property is zoned Residential Single Family (RS-15), located at 2323 Abby Court.

Application Z-18-036 by City of Murfreesboro, represented by Huddleston Steele, requesting a Special Use Permit in accordance with the City of Murfreesboro Zoning Ordinance, Chart 1, to construct a public building use for Fire Station 11 and Police office.  Property is zoned Residential Single Family (RS-15), located at the northwest corner of Blaze Drive and Fortress Boulevard (Tax Map 092, Parcel 46.01).

Application Z-18-037 by Ed Odom of TNT Fireworks, requesting a Special Use Permit to allow operation of a Temporary Outdoor Vending Establishment (seasonal fireworks sales), in accordance with the City of Murfreesboro Zoning Ordinance, Section 9.D.2(eeee).  Property is zoned Highway Commercial (CH), located at 1622 NW Broad Street.

Application Z-18-038 by Ed Odom of TNT Fireworks, requesting a Special Use Permit to allow operation of a Temporary Outdoor Vending Establishment (seasonal fireworks sales), in accordance with the City of Murfreesboro Zoning Ordinance, Section 9.D.2(eeee).  Property is zoned Highway Commercial (CH), located at 1660 Middle Tennessee Boulevard.
