If a prospect desires to purchase Murfreesboro Gateway property, they must submit this letter of intent to provide information to the Murfreesboro Gateway Commission with information, such as acres desired, project description, employment projections, renderings and preliminary site plans.
When Approval is Done
The Gateway Commission reviews letters of intent at its meeting. Approved letters of intent are converted into a contract, which is reviewed by the Gateway Commission for recommendation to City Council.
After approval of a letter of intent by the Gateway Commission, its terms and conditions are incorporated into a contract. The Gateway Commission reviews the contract and will consider whether to recommend it to City Council.
City Council must accept or reject the recommended contract in whole or send it back to the Gateway Commission for further study. City Council may not change a term or condition in a contract
