Teen Fire Academy

The Murfreesboro Fire Rescue Department Teen Fire Academy is offered to teens, ages 13 - 17 years old and is held in the Summer.  The four-day academy provides the students with the technical competencies in the fire service, while learning fire extinguisher training, hose streaming, equipment and fire safety.  Students will witness extrication demonstrations, search and rescue demonstrations, live fire demonstrations, and repelling demonstrations, as well as other activities. The academy is limited to 20 students and cost $25 per student.
