Criminal Investigations Division

The Criminal Investigations Division is responsible for the investigation of crimes reported to the Murfreesboro Police Department. Currently, the division is divided into eight sections: 

• Special Victim's Unit
• Crimes Against Persons
• Crime Against Property
• Forensics Services
• General Investigations
• Narcotics
• Vice
• Gang

As a division, we conducted thousands of investigations into various crimes. We strive to work with other agencies in an effort to better serve the citizens of Murfreesboro.
