Body-Worn Cameras/In-Car Video Request

A major factor in settling disputes arising out of citizen complaints is often video recordings. All patrol officers, supervisors and detectives are now equipped with body-worn cameras.  Most of our marked police units are equipped with video cameras, and officers are required to video record certain interactions with citizens. A video recording of an encounter can undeniably show the investigator what really happened during the incident in question.  Citizens are encouraged to call (615) 849-2686 or e-mail Captain Cary Gensemer or Lieutenant Craig Snider with any questions they may have about the process.  The Office of Professional Responsibility is located at 1004 N. Highland Ave and is open Monday through Friday 8:00 a.m. until 4:30 p.m.
