Murfreesboro’s dedicated and highly skilled team of Emergency Communications Professionals work together to analyze, prioritize, and coordinate police, fire, rescue, and emergency medical responses across the city 24/7 and 365 days a year.

Candidates that meet the minimum education and experience requirements will be contacted to schedule their CritiCall Test. Candidates receiving a passing score on the CritiCall test and who are found to have a clean criminal history will be contacted for an oral interview.  Following the interview process, a select number of candidates will continue through the hiring process with a background investigation being conducted and a communications center Sit-In Observation being scheduled.
