Due to the COVID-19, the Human Resources department has temporarily closed the office for face-to-face interactions; however we are committed to providing exceptional service and will continue to do so via telephone, email and through on-line video communication.

The Human Resources Department is responsible for all human resource functions for the City. This includes employee recruitment, payroll, retirement benefits, insurance benefits, and the City’s flexible benefits, and training.

Other responsibilities include wage assignments, employee verification, sick and annual leave administration, long term disability, Employee Assistance Program, worker’s compensation, family medical leave, Americans with Disabilities Act, Military leave, the return to work following illness or injury, and explaining questions regarding city policies.
