LEGAL NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARINGS

The Murfreesboro Planning Commission will conduct a public hearing at 7:00 PM on January 4, 2017, in the Council Chambers in City Hall, 111 W. Vine Street, Murfreesboro, Tennessee to consider a petition for annexation [2016-521] and the adoption of a Plan of Services for approximately 0.7 acres of East Overall Creek Road right of way.  The application is being made by the City of Murfreesboro Engineering Department, whose representative, Mr. Sam Huddleston, may be contacted at (615) 893-6441 for additional information.  A copy of the Plan of Services is available for review in the office of the Planning Director in City Hall and it is anticipated that a copy will be posted on the City’s web page at www.murfreesborotn.gov the week of the public hearing.  Interested parties may also obtain additional information by calling the Murfreesboro Planning Staff at (615) 893-6441.  All interested parties are invited to attend.

Vine Street, Murfreesboro, Tennessee to consider an application [2016-458] to rezone approximately 0.47 acres located along Savannah Ridge and Hyannis Drive from OG (General Office District) to RS-10 (Single-Family, Residential District).  The application is being made by Mr. Marwan Alkhiyami, whose representative, Mr. Clyde Rountree with Huddleston-Steele Engineering, Inc., may be contacted at (615) 509-5930 for additional information.  A copy of the application is available for review in the office of the Planning Director in City Hall and it is anticipated that a copy will be posted on the City’s web page at www.murfreesborotn.gov the week of the public hearing.  Interested parties may also obtain additional information by calling the Murfreesboro Planning Staff at (615) 893-6441.  All interested parties are invited to attend.

Vine Street, Murfreesboro, Tennessee to consider petitions for annexation [2016-520] and the adoption of a Plan of Services for approximately 55.6 acres located along Lascassas Pike.  The annexation includes approximately 2,700 linear feet of Lascassas Pike right-of-way and approximately 650 linear feet of Dejarnette Lane right-of-way.  The petitions are being made by Ms. Anna Elrod and Rutherford County Government, whose representative, Mr. Rob Molchan of SEC, Inc., may be contacted at (615) 890-7901 for additional information.  A copy of the Plan of Services is available for review in the office of the Planning Director in City Hall and it is anticipated that a copy will be posted on the City’s web page at www.murfreesborotn.gov the week of the public hearing.  Interested parties may also obtain additional information by calling the Murfreesboro Planning Staff at (615) 893-6441.  All interested parties are invited to attend.

Vine Street, Murfreesboro, Tennessee to consider an application [2016-457] to zone approximately 46.5 acres located along Lascassas Pike to PRD (Planned Residential District) simultaneous with annexation.  The proposed PRD would allow for the development of 199 lots for single-family residential attached dwelling units.  The application is being made by Goodall Homes, LLC, whose representative, Mr. Rob Molchan of SEC, Inc., may be contacted at (615) 890-7901 for additional information.  A copy of the PRD program book is available for review in the office of the Planning Director in City Hall
