LEGAL NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARINGS


The Murfreesboro Planning Commission will conduct a public hearing at 7:00 PM on March 1, 2017, in the Council Chambers in City Hall, 111 W. Vine Street, Murfreesboro, Tennessee to consider a petition for annexation [2017-501] and the adoption of a Plan of Services for approximately 406.3 acres located along Veterans Parkway, Blackman Road, and Burnt Knob Road.  Included in the request is
approximately 4,200 linear feet of Burnt Knob Road right-of-way; approximately 2,550 linear feet of Blackman Road right-of-way; approximately 600 linear feet of Lyle McDonald Court right-of-way; approximately 4,500 linear feet of Vaughn Road right-of-way; approximately 4,600 linear feet of Veterans Parkway right-of-way; and approximately 5,200 linear feet of I-840 right-of-way.  The application is being made by the City of Murfreesboro, whose representative, Mr. Rob Lyons, may be contacted at (615) 849-2629 for additional information.  A copy of the Plan of Services is available for review in the office of the Planning Director in City Hall and it is anticipated that a copy will be posted on the City’s web page at www.murfreesborotn.gov the week of the public hearing.  Interested parties may also obtain additional information by calling the Murfreesboro Planning Staff at (615) 893-6441.  All interested parties are invited to attend.

The Murfreesboro Planning Commission will conduct a public hearing at 7:00 PM on March 1, 2017, in the Council Chambers in City Hall, 111 W. Vine Street, Murfreesboro, Tennessee to consider an application [2017-403] to zone approximately 120.5 acres located along Burnt Knob Road and Lyle McDonald Court P (Park District) (approximately 116.9 acres) and CH (Highway Commercial District) (approximately 3.6 acres) simultaneous with annexation.  The application is being made by the City of Murfreesboro, whose representative, Mr. Rob Lyons, may be contacted at (615) 849-2629 for additional information.  A copy of the application is available for review in the office of the Planning Director in City Hall and it is anticipated that a copy will be posted on the City’s web page at www.murfreesborotn.gov the week of the public hearing.  Interested parties may also obtain additional information by calling the Murfreesboro Planning Staff at (615) 893-6441.  All interested parties are invited to attend.

The Murfreesboro Planning Commission will conduct a public hearing at 7:00 PM on March 1, 2017 in the Council Chambers in City Hall, 111 W. Vine Street, Murfreesboro, Tennessee to consider an application [2017-401] to amend the PRD (Planned Residential District) zoning for the Evergreen Farms Phase 2 PRD located along the west side of Saint Andrews Drive on approximately 247.3 acres.  The proposed changes are to:  increase the density from 1,359 dwelling units to 1,408 dwelling units; allow attached townhouse units on 13.7 acres currently designated for single-family dwelling units; and reduce lot widths from 60 feet to 50 feet and lot sizes from 6,000 square feet to 5,000 square feet for 376 single-family residential lots.  The application is being made by Ole South Properties, whose representative, Mr. Clyde Rountree of Huddleston-Steele Engineering, Inc., may be contacted at (615) 893-4084 for additional information.  Copies of the application and the proposed amendment are available for review in the office of the Planning Director in City Hall and it is anticipated that a copy will be posted on the City’s web page at www.murfreesborotn.gov the week of the public hearing.  Interested parties may also obtain additional information by calling the Murfreesboro Planning Staff at (615) 893-6441.  All interested parties are invited to attend.

Vine Street, Murfreesboro, Tennessee to consider miscellaneous amendments [2017-801] to the Zoning Ordinance as regards Section 2: Interpretation and Definitions, Chart 1: Uses Permitted by Zoning District, and Chart 2: Minimum Lot Requirements, Minimum Yard Requirements, and Land Use Intensity Ratios.  A copy of the proposed amendments is available for review in the office of the Planning Director in City Hall and it is anticipated that a copy will be posted on the City’s web page at www.murfreesborotn.gov the week of the public hearing.  The application is being made by the Murfreesboro Planning Staff.
