Consolidated Plan Surveys
THANK YOU FOR YOUR HELP …

Since 1984, Murfreesboro has received Community Development Block Grant funding from the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD). The primary objectives of the CDBG program are to provide decent housing, a suitable living environment and expand economic opportunities, principally for low- and moderate-income persons and neighborhoods.

CDBG rules require the City to develop a consolidated plan every five years and Murfreesboro delegates that responsibility to the Community Development Department. HUD encourages the lead agency to consult with interested parties including agencies, groups, organizations, income-eligible persons and other interested parties. We need your input to help us establish our program priorities for the next five years.

Murfreesboro is required provide a concise summary of the nature and extent of HOUSING NEEDS, NON-HOUSING COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT NEEDS, HOMELESSNESS NEEDS in the jurisdiction. Your responses to the following surveys helped us prepare those summaries and describe our strategies for addressing those issues during the next five years.

Surveys were open from early January until March 31. Clink the links below to be connected to the survey results.
