BOARD OF ZONING APPEALS

LEGAL NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARINGS

Application Z-17-039 by Cory Williams, requesting two Variances for the development of a single family residence on property zoned General Office - Residential (OG-R) zoning district, located at 450 Roberts Street.
  • Variance from Appendix A, Chart 2 of the Murfreesboro Zoning Ordinance to allow fifteen (15) feet from the required thirty (30) feet from the front yard setback; and
  • Variance from Appendix A, Chart 2 of the Murfreesboro Zoning Ordinance to allow five (5) feet from the required ten (10) feet from the side yard setback. 

Application Z-17-040 by Ron Warta, requesting two Variances for the development of a carport on property zoned Single Family Residential (RS-15) zoning district, located at 314 Venus Place.
  • Variance from Appendix A, Chart 2 of the Murfreesboro Zoning Ordinance to allow three (3) feet from the required twelve and one half (12.5) feet from the side yard setback; and 
  • Variance from Appendix A, Chart 2 of the Murfreesboro Zoning Ordinance to allow five (5) feet from the required thirty (30) feet from the rear yard setback. 

Application Z-17-041 by Jeff Hooper, P.E. of Barge Cauthen and Associates, on behalf of the County of Rutherford Board of Education (Central Magnet High School), requesting a Special Use Permit to install 76 new parking spaces at the Central Magnet School, increasing the total off-street parking onsite from 302 spaces to 378 spaces in compliance with the City of Murfreesboro Zoning Ordinance, Section 26, Off Street Parking, Queuing, and Loading.  Property is in Single Family Residential (RS-15) zoning district, located at 701 East Main Street.
