Welcome to the web page for the St. Clair Street Senior Center. We hope the information on these pages will be of assistance to you regarding the services provided by the center for individuals 60 years and older in Murfreesboro and Rutherford County. With caring and compassionate commitment, the center staff is dedicated to the goal of enhancing the quality of life through prompt, efficient and courteous service for senior adults, their families and caregivers.

As a focal point, senior center activities are geared toward encouraging fellowship, enriching artistic and social development, promoting physical well being, dignity and independence. These are accomplished in a variety of ways with information and referral, recreational opportunities, educational programs, the national-award winning Nurse on Duty program, day trips, tours, and the lunch program sponsored by Mid-Cumberland Human Resource Agency and more. The Center serves as a "home away from home" for an average of 218 "seasoned" citizens daily.
