2nd Annual Underwater Egg Hunt
Murfreesboro Parks and Recreation Department will celebrate Easter with two unique Egg Hunts, including prizes, games and visits by the Easter Bunny. The festivities will kick off with Murfreesboro’s second annual Underwater Egg Hunt on Saturday, March 15 in the indoor pool at Patterson Park Community Center. Who said that eggs are always hidden behind cabbage leaves? Eggs will be floating above and below the surface of the water for children ages, birth – 12 years, to hunt. The Underwater Egg Hunt caters to children of all swimming abilities and will begin at 10:00a.m. with free swimming until 12:00p.m. The cost is $5.00 per child. This great event was the recipient of the Tennessee Recreation and Parks Association 2007 Aquatics Award for Excellence!
