City Council
Vice Mayor Chris Bratcher
Vice-Mayor and councilmember Chris Bratcher has served on city council since 1988 and he is a lifelong resident of the city.
Bratcher attended city schools and Riverdale High School.
He currently serves on the board of Murfreesboro Electric Department and the city's Pension Commission. He has also served on the Murfreesboro Planning Commission, Parks and Recreation Commission, St. Clair Street Senior Citizens Advisory Committee, Urban Environmental Commission and has sat on the Murfreesboro City School Board and the Blackman and Patterson Center citizens advisory committees.
He has been active as a baseball coach with the Murfreesboro Baseball Association and is a member of the Zion Hill Baptist Church.
