'In the City'

Cable Channel 3's news show In The City (shown daily at 8:30 a.m. and 6:30 p.m.) is about Murfreesboro city government. It is produced especially for Murfreesboro residents to provide the latest information for citizens.

Through May 12, In the City will cablecast:

  • Rover Turns 1
    Rover turned a year old in April. Director of Transportation Bob Nugent talks about ridership and the future of Murfreesboro transit.

 

  • Cannonsburgh Renovation:
    Renovations to the Cannonsburgh mill is just in time for the 2008 tourist season. See what else is getting a face lift at historic Cannonsburgh.

 

  • Halls Hill Pike Widening:
    It's been debated for years and now it's becoming reality. With a turn of the first shovel of dirt, the long-awaited road project on Halls Hill Pike began recently.

 

  • National Public Safety Telecommunicators Week:
    City officials and directors of city safety agencies recognize the important job performed by telecommunicators as they facilitate getting help to those in need.
