MWSD earns 99 grade in Water Supply Division Survey
With a score of 99, Murfreesboro’s Water Department has earned the designation ‘approved’ from the Tennessee’s Division of Water Supply after a Sanitary Survey was conducted between Oct. 14 and 15, a release states.
The survey awarded the department a score of 99; nine points over the 90 it scored in 2008.
“The Division would like to commend the water system on the operations and recordkeeping of the system,” Division Manager Erich Webber stated in a letter to the department. “Division staff would like to commend the water system for having a certified operator on each shift where water quality and system integrity decisions need to be made."
