Are you looking for a challenge? Hike 26.2 miles at Barfield Crescent Park in the month of July and earn a super-soft marathon t-shirt! All miles must be hiked on the honor system here in Barfield. All registrants will receive a mileage tracker. Registration is online at murfreesboroparks.com or in person at the Wilderness Station. Hike more, worry less! For all ages.

This class consists of basic and advanced moves using a traditional aerobic step. It is designed for most fitness levels and consists of moderate to high impact cardiovascular movements. This class may include standing and floor work and may use body weight, hand weights, bands and balls.

Join us under the stars for a fun, family-friendly movie night featuring “Onward.” The movie showcases the voices of Tom Holland, Chris Pratt, Octavia Spencer, Julia Louis-Dreyfuss, and John Ratzenberger and is rated PG. Bring a blanket or lawn chair. You are welcome to bring your own snacks as concessions may be limited.

If you are an active adult looking for a modified Zumba class that recreates the original moves of Zumba that you love at a lower intensity, this class introduces easy to follow Zumba choreography that focuses on balance, range of motion and coordination. Sign up for M/W or T/TH class. You can do both if there is an opening. Now offering a Saturday class! Instructed by Jennifer Smith. You must sign up for all classes due to the limited number of spaces available. No class July 5.

This NEW museum is dedicated to preserving and celebrating more than 50 music genres and styles created, influenced or inspired by African Americans. Fee includes transportation and admission. Bring money for a late lunch.

The “Stuff the Bus” campaign occurs annually to ensure that our most at-risk students have everything they need to start their school year off ready to learn. Items needed for the “Stuff the Bus” Drive include backpacks, color pencils, crayons, dry erase markers, glue sticks, composition notebooks, and scissors.
