Middle Tennessee is home to several venomous animals. The focus of this program will be on the identification, potential hazards, safety, and how to live side by side with these very important animals. We will cover the venomous animals and their means of defense and prey capture. We will discuss their importance in biotechnology and biodiscovery. This program would be great for college students concentrating on life sciences or biotechnology, young adults, and children just interested in the animals that call Middle Tennessee home.
