We are headed to Stewarts Creek boat ramp in Smyrna. There will be a dock for low mobility individuals and a shore line (with some rocks) for those wanting to venture out a little more. Rod, reel and bait will be provided. Bring good shoes/boots, bottled water, a folding chair, a pocket knife (if you have one), a fishing license and wear appropriate clothing. This class is for people with Type 2 diabetes (T2) or those who are at risk for T2. It is a prevention class/support group, teaching how to prevent T2 diabetes and/or how to prevent the complications of T2 diabetes. Please sign up only if you are committed to coming regularly.
