    For ages 1-4 with adult. Welcome to the Wilderness! Introduce your child to the wonders of nature in this fun-filled class designed just for them. Each week the adventure starts with unique songs and a discussion about the animal of the week. We reinforce each topic with a simple craft and a nature hike or fun activity. learn about the wonderful, wacky wildlife that lives in Tennessee. Registration is required.   1. Meet and Greet: Murfreesboro Police

    Have a meet and greet with the local Murfreesboro Police Department. Officers will be coming to the center to educate you on the emergency call center. Afterwards we will take a bus directly to the MPD station to tour part of the new facility. Only 23 can ride the bus to the MPD station for the tour. Sign up by the deadline, 3/6. Meets in Room S104.

  3. Diabetes Education

    This class is for people with Type 2 diabetes (T2) or those who are at risk for T2. It is a prevention class/support group, teaching how to prevent T2 diabetes and/or how to prevent the complications of T2 diabetes. Please sign up only if you are committed to coming regularly. Discussions include nutrition, mental and physical health and healthy cooking demos. Class runs from March 6-June 26. Meets in Room E303.
