  3. Perform Murfreesboro presents "The Music Man"

November 23, 2019, 7:00 PM - 9:00 PM @ The Washington Theater at Patterson Park

Make plans this November to support our all-youth cast as they present the full-length production of “The Music Man.” “The Music Man” follows fast-talking traveling salesman, Harold Hill, as he cons the people of River City, Iowa, into buying instruments and uniforms for a boys’ band that he vows to organize – this, despite the fact that he doesn’t know a trombone from a treble clef. His plans to skip town with the cash are foiled when he falls for Marian, the librarian, who transforms him into a respectable citizen by curtain’s fall. A Barber Shop Quartet, stuffy town mayor, and a flock of River City busybodies makes this family-friendly performance the perfect way to kick off the holiday season! A show for all ages.
