It's hot out, but that shouldn't keep you from challenging yourself. Why not complete a triathlon this summer - the slow and steady way? Swim 2.4 miles, bike 112 miles and run 26.2 miles over the course of the summer. Track your progress on provided logs, then turn in by the end of the summer (July 31) for a t-shirt. For ages 1-4 with adult. Welcome to the Wilderness! Introduce your child to the wonders of nature in this fun-filled class designed just for them. Each week the adventure starts with unique songs and a discussion about the animal of the week. We reinforce each topic with a simple craft and a nature hike or fun activity. learn about the wonderful, wacky wildlife that lives in Tennessee. Registration is required. Start Smart Baseball is a developmentally appropriate introductory baseball program for children 3-4 years old. This 7-week program prepares children for organized tee ball, baseball and softball in a fun and safe environment. It also prepares children and their parents for organized baseball and softball without the threat of competition or the fear of getting hurt. Registration will be held throughout the month of May at Sports*Com, McFadden Community Center, the main office at Barfield Crescent Park and online at murfreesborotn.gov/parks. Space is limited.

This class is for people with Type 2 diabetes (T2) or those who are at risk for T2.
