The Pirtle and Defoor Gateway, LLC is developing a mixed use project on the north side of Gateway Boulevard. On the 20-acre parcel, they have plans for a three phase development:

• Front Phase: First Bank, BB&T and Wilson Bank and Trust, plus a site for a Class A restaurant;
• Middle Phase: Two mid rise 40,000 to 60,000 sf office buildings (2-3 story)
• Rear Phase: 8 one-story office condos (9,000 sf each) for professional office.
