Legal Notice of Public Hearings

The Murfreesboro Planning Commission will conduct a public hearing at 6:00 PM on Wednesday, October 13, 2021 in the Council Chambers in City Hall, 111 W. Vine Street, Murfreesboro, Tennessee to consider amendments [2021-801] to the Zoning Ordinance pertaining to Section 13: Planned Development Regulations and Section 24: Overlay District Regulations, Article VI. CCO, City Core Overlay District.  The proposed amendments seek to clarify ambiguities and inconsistencies in the CCO zoning regulations, make improvements to the regulations and design standards, and modify the list of prohibited uses.   The request is being made by the City of Murfreesboro Planning Department, which may be contacted at (615)-893-6441 for additional information.  A copy of the proposed amendment is available for review in the office of the Planning Director in City Hall and it is anticipated that it will be posted on the City’s web page at www.murfreesborotn.gov the week of the public hearing.  All interested parties are invited to attend.  Requests for an accommodation to enable an individual with a disability to attend or to participate in a meeting should be made by calling Robert Holtz at (615) 893-5210, TDD (615) 849-2689, at least two (2) working days in advance.

 

 

The Murfreesboro Planning Commission will conduct a public hearing at 6:00 PM on Wednesday, October 13, 2021 in the Council Chambers in City Hall, 111 W.
