Ronnie Martin was elected to the Murfreesboro City Council in 2018. Martin’s current term expires in 2022.
Martin is a lifelong resident of Rutherford County. Graduating from Riverdale High School in 1992, Martin continued his higher education at Middle Tennessee State University where he earned both an Economics degree and a Master of Business Administration (MBA). Martin also attended LSU’s Graduate School of Banking, which is the premier Banking School in the South.
Martin is a Financial Advisor at Pinnacle Financial Partners where he works predominately with small businesses owners. In his 25-year career, he has worked on many new construction projects and has significant real estate lending experience. Martin serves on the Planning Commission, and Cable TV Commission.
Martin is a 2008 graduate of Leadership Rutherford, an advisory board member for Tennessee Small Business Development Center and has served as a Financial Expert Judge for MTSU’s capstone Entrepreneur Course. In 2015, he was voted Rutherford County’s Favorite Banker in the Daily News Journal Ruthies Awards.
Ronnie is married to Cynthia Martin. The couple has four adult children, Braley, Holland, Jarrett and Kennedy.
