REFUND POLICY

~ A full refund will be given when canceling at least 2 weeks prior to the camp, program or activity.
~ A 50% refund of the total fee paid will be given when canceling or dropping out of the camp, program or activity less than 2 weeks prior to the start of the camp, program or activity.
~ No refunds will be given the day of or after the start of the camp, program or activity.

Sports

Sports Camp at Sports*Com
At Sports Camp, participants will explore a variety of sports and activities from the traditional to the unconventional. Emphasis is on sportsmanship, good attitudes, teamwork and fun. Participants will play dodge ball, flag football, kickball, softball/baseball and floor hockey, along with many other active games. They will also enjoy a fun afternoon of swimming at Boro Beach, the outdoor pool at Sports*Com. This camp is one of the best, affordable camps in Murfreesboro. Sign up early to secure your child’s spot.

Cheer Camp
Come get in the cheer spirit at Cheer Camp! Experienced cheer instructors will teach the beginner, or the more advanced cheerleader. Your cheerleader will be learning chants and cheers, tumbling, choreography and hanging out at Boro Beach. The fun week will end with a show for all family and friends to see what their cheerleader has learned.

Youth Volleyball Camp
From the beginner to the more advanced volleyball player, come spend the week learning new skills with our experienced instructors. This will be a fun-filled week refining the players' athletic abilities in the gym and on the sand volleyball courts, and hanging out at Boro Beach.

Guard Start Camp
Do something unique and learn how to save lives…become an American Red Cross Junior Lifeguard! At this camp you will learn first aid, CPR, water rescues, and you will be able to tell your friends you are a certified Junior Lifeguard. You will receive an official Jr. Guard Shirt.
* This course does not make you CPR certified, but the basics of CPR will be taught.

Wildlife Camp
Love animals? Love the outdoors? Wildlife Camp is calling your name. Strengthen your appreciation of Tennessee’s wildlife and outdoor sports by spending the week with us. Enjoy fishing, kayaking, reptile research, hiking, birds of prey program, outdoor cooking, and archery. Experience the outdoors in a new way this summer.

Summer Kayak Club
Hey, Teens! Summer’s around the corner, and it’s time to find something to do in the great city of Murfreesboro. How about spending your time and energy on the waterways that are around us? Every week we will embark on a new adventure along the Stones River. Learn kayak paddle strokes, how to read the river and water safety techniques while meeting new friends. Registration is filled on a first-come basis. Limited to 8 participants.

Zoologist Camp
Do you want to be an animal scientist or just love to learn about the natural world? If you would like to engage in activities that involve wildlife, their habitats, natural history, research and conservation, this is the camp for you. The first two days at the Wilderness Station will be filled with fun activities that explore our native wildlife and their needs. The remainder of the week we will pack up and hit the road, visiting some of our most beautiful natural places in the state. We will meet several professionals in this line of work to discover all the ways you can contribute to and help our wildlife.
Wednesday through Friday we will travel and camp in and around the Cherokee National Forest, focusing on stream biodiversity and the amazing animals that live there. Transportation, camping gear and meals while camping will be provided.

Animal Care Camp  
Do you have a teen that is crazy about animals? This camp will teach them how to properly care for all sorts of critters, wild and domestic. We will use our Wilderness Station Animal Ambassadors in addition to some guest critters to get a better understanding of the needs and responsibilities that incorporate animal care. Campers will have hands-on experiences with our animal care team to learn the ins and outs of our most beloved critters.

If you are a "Fann" of snakes, lizards, turtles and such, then this is the camp for you! Spend the week learning about all reptile groups, conservation, education, captive management and field research. We will spend a considerable amount of time outside through the week, observing many reptiles up close!

Each day’s activities will center around a different educational theme and include classic camp activities such as hiking, gaga ball, archery, water games, crafts, and more.

Have you ever wanted to be able to sew your own outfit or fix a tear in a shirt? This class is for beginners and intermediate sewers. You will learn so much in this class from threading a needle to working on a sewing machine. Come learn a valuable life-long skill, gain confidence and explore your creative side!

Music Camp
In this two-part camp, the morning portion will introduce campers to music and dance for theatre performance. Campers will learn ensemble vocals as well as solo singing, choreography, and acting skills. We will sing and dance our way through this camp with Broadway music and have lots of fun. After lunch we will take a look at different instruments and how to play them. Drums, guitar, ukulele, and the harp are just a few of the instruments we will be exploring this week. Join us on this musical adventure, and have fun trying new instruments!

Musical Theatre Camp is a jazz and tap-based camp filled with Broadway style dancing and music to ensure that students have solid foundation in the dance abilities. This form of dancing emphasizes learning performance skills such as connecting with the audience and using facial expressions. This camp also promotes strength in feet and legs for a better understanding of music and rhythm and is specially designed for those wanting to improve their dance technique.

All Things Theatre Camp 
In the morning this camp will focus on ensemble and solo singing, basic theatre choreography and facial expressions using Broadway numbers. Have fun developing your theatre skills with songs, dance, acting games and exercises that will enhance your confidence, positivity and expression. After lunch we will shift our focus to learn what happens behind the scenes. Campers will take an in-depth look at all the happenings backstage in the theatre, including but not limited to stage management, lighting, sound, set design, sewing, and makeup. History Through the Arts Camp
History Through the Arts Camp takes a hands-on approach to history through art, textiles, creative writing and culinary arts. Attendees will learn about the innovativeness of African American artists of the past and find ways to relate it to the present day. The camp will be divided into small groups. The attendees will attend four classes, each focused on a different aspect of African American artistic contributions to society. Art and textiles will include two-dimensional art based on the work of African American artists; writing and music will also focus on similar activities in their respective fields. Culinary arts will concentrate on traditional African American dishes and innovations.
The program will begin at 9 a.m. with sign-in and an overview of the day. The hour-long morning classes will begin at 9 a.m. with a break for lunch around noon. Lunch will not be provided. A snack created in the culinary arts class will be offered at 1:30, and dismissal will be at 2:00 p.m.

Ultimate Babysitters’ Club
Whether you want to start your own babysitting business or just want to know what you are doing when left in charge of your younger siblings or cousins, this class will give you the skills that you need to be an Ultimate Babysitter. This week-long class will include certification in infant and child CPR, AED and first aid, as well as in Child and Babysitting Safety, all through the American Safety and Health Institute. We’ll also go over some activities to help you entertain your little charges. Space is limited to ensure adequate training.
